Brenna Giordano joined NDNU to teach Research Methods in the School of Psychology while completing her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in forensic psychology, at Palo Alto University in the Spring of 2020. Following her graduation, Brenna completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School in forensic psychology and continued to conduct research with the university as a Statistics Consultant focusing on mental health of youth in the juvenile justice system. Brenna currently works full-time as a forensic evaluator at the CA Department of State Hospitals - Atascadero, where her primary duties include conducting court-ordered forensic evaluations, providing expert witness testimony, and training graduate-level psychology interns. Brenna has also previously taught courses at the University of San Francisco and continues as adjunct faculty at Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo. Brenna returned to teach at NDNU in the Fall of 2024.
