Erica Dominguez

Erica Dominguez was born and raised in a bi-cultural household in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her family's origin story began in Mexico, Southern California, and later in the suburbs of Fremont. Erica achieved a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Mills College, and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies (minor in Anthropology) from SF State. She is first-generation to graduate with two college degrees. During her graduate work she studied theoretical frameworks, ethnographic research, while instructing at Frick Middle in East Oakland. After, she served in TRIO's Upward Bound program, where she supported Oakland and Richmond youth in fulfilling their aspirations of attending college. Erica comes from a long line of Educators and trailblazers. Her passion and purpose in Education is woven into the stories and history of her family. She brings this with her to NDNU and hopes to support students in their unique journey.
