Ellen Spencer, a retired administrator, remains actively involved with schools. She taught in elementary and middle schools before serving as a principal. In this role, she guided both private and public schools in rural and urban areas. Mrs. Spencer is proud of her time as principal of James Flood Science and Technology Magnet School in the Ravenswood School District where she led efforts that resulted in the school earning a California Distinguished School award. She also participated in mentoring, induction, and coaching teachers, principals and is currently supporting new teacher interns at Â鶹ֱ²¥. She has been involved locally with her company, Link ED Solutions, using specially designed tools, guides and a workbook that further empower teachers and principals to develop high-performing grade-level teams. This approach enables the staff to work with their communities to identify, collaborate and agree on solutions that affect students and their families.
