Dr. Gregory B. White holds an MA and Ph.D. in Mathematics from UCLA, and a BA in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Rochester. He joined NDNU in 1993 and has held successively responsible positions as Professor of Mathematics, Chair of Mathematics and Computer Science, Director of Institutional Research, Assistant Provost, Interim Dean of Arts and Sciences, Associate Provost, Interim Provost, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Provost. Dr. White has responsibility for academic programs and support services, accreditation, and works with faculty governance and union issues. He has authored successful grant proposals that have brought over $8 million to support programs and improve facilities at NDNU. Outside of NDNU Dr. White serves as Chair of the California Mathematics Project Advisory Board and as Chair of the Board of Directors of Redwood Symphony. He also plays french horn in the Redwood Symphony.
