Susanna La, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Professor at Â鶹ֱ²¥. She currently teaches Lifespan Development, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Positive Psychology and Mindfulness. Dr. La is a licensed psychologist in private practice specializing in working with highly sensitive people, helping professionals, complex trauma, and neurodivergence. She has worked in various clinical settings including outpatient mental health, college universities, community mental health, primary care, and hospice. She completed her psychological assistantship at Kaiser Permanente, Redwood City, postdoctoral Residency at Kaiser Permanente, Fremont, and predoctoral Internship at San Jose State University. She received her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces.
