Victoria Liou-Johnson, Ph.D., MS, is a clinical psychologist/neuropsychologist with expertise in integrating social justice principles into clinical practice and research. As Founding Executive Director and current Board President of the nonprofit Hawai'i Behavioral Health Connection, she works to improve access to culturally informed behavioral healthcare across Hawai'i. Her research focuses on traumatic brain injury, cognition, trauma, and health disparities affecting AANHPI and AN/NA populations. She employs mixed methods to develop translational research that improves treatment outcomes for historically marginalized communities. Dr. Liou-Johnson maintains a private practice specializing in culturally conscious trauma treatment, is an Affiliated Scholar at Stanford's Clinical Excellence Research Center, andCenter and serves asis a member of the faculty at Palo Alto University and Âé¶¹Ö±²¥. She is also passionate about mentoring students from underrepresented backgrounds.
