There are some important dates with regard to application deadlines that we encourage families to take note of. The admissions application deadlines are as follows. Assessment dates and details will be distributed to applicant families after the application deadline has passed.

2025/26 School Year Application Dates

  • Kindergarten Application Deadline: November 15, 2024
  • Grades 1-12 Application Deadline: January 30, 2025
  • Junior Kindergarten Application Deadline: February 14, 2025

Step 1


We encourage you to learn about us through a hands-on, real-world experience: the same way our students learn at 鶹ֱ. First, explore the information offered on our website, but then see what 鶹ֱ is about first-hand. Attending an Admissions Information Session (offered monthly as webinars) is the first step in admissions and answers many questions parents have about 鶹ֱ including the program, extracurriculars, academics, facility, investment and the admissions process.

Admissions Information Session

Join our live, online Admissions Information Webinars to gain a comprehensive understanding of 鶹ֱ’s approach to education. During this session, you will:

Open House

We invite you to attend one of 鶹ֱ’s Open Houses, held about once a month after school. These events are designed to give you a firsthand look at our campus and a chance to meet a few students, teachers and staff that make up our community.

  • Date and Time: On select dates, drop-in anytime between 3:45pm and 5:45pm. Please RSVP so that we can plan for your arrival.
  • Guided Tours: Student Ambassadors will guide you through the school, offering a unique perspective on student life at 鶹ֱ.
  • Ask Questions: Teaching and Admissions staff will be available to answer your questions and provide insights into our educational approach.

Step 2


If you feel 鶹ֱ is the right fit for your child, we welcome you to complete the online application package.

Application process:

  1. Set up a profile through MySchool, our student management system
  2. Complete the application and include the student’s most recent report card (for Grade 1+ applicants) as well as any other supporting documents
  3. Finalize the application by paying the $250 application fee online
Step 3


Depending on your child’s age, the assessments all look a little bit different. JK and K assessments are small group sessions. Grade 1-12 applicants come in for their assessments which are a combination of academic and interpersonal sessions. We pride ourselves in evaluating evenly and fairly, and our assessments help determine if students are prepared for the 鶹ֱ approach to education, learning philosophies, fulsome programming, and academic rigour. Students who are successful in their assessments then move on to next step of the process.

Step 4

Admissions interview

JK-Grade 12 applicants who are successful in their assessments are invited for the admissions interview. This interview is conducted via Zoom and includes parents, members of the Admissions Committee and students entering Grades 4–12. The admissions interviews allow us to get to know your family and help determine fit within the 鶹ֱ Program.

At this stage, students applying to Grades 1-12 will also be asked for a reference form from a current teacher; the form will be provided by 鶹ֱ.

Step 5

Admissions Results

Applicants who have completed the admissions interview will receive an admissions decision via email once the Admissions Committee has met and reviewed all of the information gathered. Kindergarten acceptances will be announced by the winter break, JK decisions by the spring and Grades 1-12 applicants will know their results within two weeks following their admissions interviews. Admissions results could be: accepted, waitlisted or declined.  Successful candidates will receive their enrolment and registration package once they receive a spot at 鶹ֱ. Waitlisted students will be notified should a space become available.
